Employee breaks ankle when forklift truck overturns

At about 12:45 p.m. on March 8, 1995, Employee #1 was operating a company's propane powered Clark forklift truck (serial #669852) in the parking lot south of the company's facility. Employee #1 was driving the forklift truck east and then turned south (a right hand turn). The truck overturned onto its right side. The forklift truck did not have a load on it because Employee #1 was using the forklift truck to pick up a load of material out of the trailer from CWX trucking. Employee #1 broke his right ankle, his right foot, and his right heel. He was taken by Paramedic ambulance to Simi Valley Hospital for treatment.
