Two employees injured when caught in printing press

Employee #1, age 18, was feeding the leading edge of paper into a machine that fed a printing press. His left hand and forearm became caught by the in-running rolls and were crushed. In a separate incident, Employee #2, a press jogger, was feeding the lead portion of a new roll of paper into the rolls of a printing press when his left hand and fingers became caught by the in-running rolls. He sustained lacerations and avulsion of three fingers. Neither of the press machines was guarded.
