Investigation Summary
Employee #1, of Apollo Car Wash, was working at the finish of a Hanna car wash mechanism, hand drying cars with towels. Employee #1 stepped in the groove of the mechanism and caught his right foot. Evidently twisting the foot as he pulled it out of the groove caused a contusion. The car wash mechanism was inspected and was found to be guarded adequately where the accident occurred and where the drive chain descends into the ground.
