Employee injured in fall from scaffold

At 2:23 p.m. on March 6, 1996, Employee #1, a street pick-up laborer, was working with the framing crew for Ron-Rico Construction, West Covina, CA, on a house under construction. He was climbing in and out of the framed structure when he lost his grip and fell 10 to 12 ft from a scaffold. Employee #1 struck several crossbeams during his fall and sustained multiple cuts and bruises. He was taken to Arcadia Methodist Hospital, where he was treated and released.
