Investigation Summary
On September 29, 1997, Employee #1 was injured when he fell approximately 18.5 feet from the roof of a residential building. Employee #1 suffered a compression fracture of the L1 spinal vertebra and a broken femur bone of his right leg. When the injury occurred, Employee #1 was installing a metal roof on a residential building. Employee #1 fell off roof when he tripped over a stack of roofing panels.
