Employee's finger crushed in ram of truck compactor

Employee #1 was climbing on the outside of a truck compactor. The area where he reached to pull himself up was a pinch point of the ram housing. Employee #1 had about half of his finger in the space when the ram retracted. His finger was crushed, but the injury was not serious.
