Investigation Summary
At approximately 7:40 a.m. on August 2, 1996, Employee #1, of Master Body Works, South Gate, CA, was using an AEC 45 cold saw to cut a piece of aluminum tubing. The material jumped, and the 16 in. saw blade struck his left forearm. Employee #1 sustained a 2 in. laceration and was taken to Kaiser Permanente, where he was treated and released.
