Employee injured when struck by falling pipe

Employee #1, a truck driver, was hauling several 25 ft lengths of metal pipe to a salvage yard for reclamation. According to witnesses and company management, he was untying the load when two of the pipes became dislodged. One of them fell from the flatbed and struck Employee #1 on the head and back, pushing him face first into the trailer.
