Employee's foot run over by log loader

Employee #1 was working as a landing chaser--the person who brands logs and cuts off limbs (knot bumper). He stated that he had branded the logs and was putting paint on the brand when he dropped his paint can. Employee #1 states that he knew better, but he walked over to pick up the can of paint. As he stepped to pick up the can, the log loader moved closer to the log deck. Employee #1's right foot was run over when the log loader moved. He stated that he stepped into the path of the loader as it moved.
