Employee #1 brushed an unguarded saw blade of a Sears table saw, which was cutting plastic, as he was preparing for another cut. The middle finger of his left hand was amputated and the ring and little fingers were severely cut. The table saw is provided with a guard but it was removed to facilitate cutting.
