Employee injured when struck by falling load of closet poles

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on May 22, 1996, Employee #1, of Valet Closet and Garage Organizers, was struck by a falling load of round closet hanger poles. He was not seriously injured, but was transported to Valley Medical Center, where he remained for observation until May 24, 1996. He suffered no permanent disability, disfigurement, or scarring. Subsequent investigation of the storage rack indicated that the remaining poles were bundled and stacked in a safe manner, and they did not roll or move when the rack was kicked.
