Employee injured by a falling beam

Employee #1 and coworker were at the rear of trailer measuring the I-beam overhang, while a crane was swinging a load from the trailer. The counterweight on the crane struck the load (beam) on the bed of the trailer, causing the beam to fall off the trailer and strike Employee #1's foot. His foot was amputated and he was hospitalized.
