Employee Is Injured When He Fell Out of a Tree

On November 16, 2004, Employee #1 of Premium Packaging Inc. was on a detail assignment at the General Farm Investment Company. Employee #1 was assigned to work up in a tree cutting the small branches with a hand saw. Employee #1 was working at an estimated height of no more than 12 feet. Employee #1 was not given any task assignment training or appropriate anti-fall protective gear. Employee #1 fell out of the tree and sustained multiple fractures and was hospitalized as a result.
