Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:00 p.m. on June 7, 2005, Employee #1, a fruit packer, and a coworker were on a roof scrapping loose paint. Employee #1 went for a lunch break and was found later below the eaves on the opposite side of the roof, near the ladder. He fell approximately 9 ft and died.
