Investigation Summary
Three employees were loading marble onto a flatbed truck for delivery. One employee began to remove the wooden frame holding the bundled marble slabs so the three employees could load them onto the flat bed truck. As the last of the frame was removed, the marble slabs fell onto Employee #1, pinning him to the ground. He suffered head lacerations and multiple rib fractures, and was hospitalized. The other two employees were not injured. Further investigation revealed the marble slabs were not properly bundled.
