Employee Fractures Finger with Fan Blade

On July 18, 2003, an employee was servicing a Perkins 50-100 KW Generator. He was checking for leaks with left hand, while right hand was resting on door edge. Door blew, shutting on right hand, and employee's left hand drifted into fan blade, causing fracture to ring finger. Employee was hospitalized and treated for fractured finger.
