Employee killed while delivering pizza

Employee #1 was working for Golden Gate Pizza, Inc., dba Domino's Pizza, as a delivery person. At approximately 12:40 a.m. on August 22, 1994, he routinely delivered pizza to a reputable neighborhood. As he headed toward his personal car, he was confronted by a man armed with a small hand gun. The man demanded money. Employee #1 refused and a fight started. Employee #1 was shot in the chest and killed. The man fled in Employee #1's car. Later, the man confessed to homicide inspectors and was subsequently booked. Trauma counseling was provided to Employee #1's coworkers.
