Investigation Summary
On August 13, 1996, Employee #1 was standing 1 1/2 feet from the edge of a 24 foot high roof, discussing a job with a coworker. When the conversation ended, he turned and stepped off the roof's edge, falling 24 ft to a concrete floor. Employee #1 was transported to St. Mary's hospital, where he died seven days later.
