Employee dies after falling through skylight

At approximately 11:00 a.m. on July 10, 1996, Employee #1 was on top of a flat roof at Acxiom Corporation, Conway, AR, waterproofing seams between two existing buildings. He fell 12 ft 11 in. through a 27 1/2 by 10 ft fiberglass corrugated skylight to the concrete floor inside of the building, sustaining massive head injuries. Employee #1 was treated at Conway Regional Medical Center, but he was unable to be stabilized and was transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. At 2:45 a.m. on July 11, 1996, Employee #1 died.
