Investigation Summary
On Friday, September 8, 1995, Employee #1, a bulldozer driver with ASIRCC, Inc., was taking a lunch break. Employee #1 had said earlier that morning that he was a little tired and he had suffered minor chest pain. When lunch was over, a coworker arrived to drop off a load of dirt and discovered Employee #1 slumped over and unresponsive in the dozer driver's seat. Two coworkers pulled Employee #1 from the cab. He remained unresponsive as medical attention continued in the emergency room at St. Vincent General Hospital in Leadville, CO. Employee #1 was pronounced dead from cardiac arrest at 1:47 p.m. by the atttending ER physician.
