Employee dies of apparent heart attack

On January 2, 1996, Employee #1 was found dead at his desk at Spafas, Inc., a chicken hatchery that produced pathogen-free eggs for use in the pharmaceutical industry. An autopsy report stated that Employee #1 had died of coronary atherosclerosis. The company used formaldehyde to fumigate its buildings.
