Employee collapses and dies of cardiovascular disease

On November 2, 1994, Employee #1 was grinding iron castings on a 2.4 in. wheel floor grinder. At approximately 10:50 a.m., he walked approximately 10 ft away from the grinder and collapsed. First aid was administered and an ambulance took him to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead from hypertensive cardiovascular disease.
