Investigation Summary
Employee #1 was preparing to wash cars and trucks at the edge of a car lot on State Route 3 when the driver of an approaching car lost control of his vehicle. He went outside the traffic lanes onto the shoulder of the road, striking and killing Employee #1. Since the primary cause of this accident relates to a third party who was operating his vehicle on a state highway, this accident was investigated by the Washington State Patrol.
