Employee dies of heart attack

At about 1:30 p.m. on April 23, 1997, Employee #1 left his employer's shop in Mt. Vernon, WA, to make deliveries in Whatcom County. At approximately 9:15 p.m., Employee #1 was found at the Shell gas station, north of Burlington. He was sitting in the delivery truck with the driver's door open and the keys out of the ignition. He had died of a heart attack.
