Employee killed when chemical spreader overturns in ravine

Employee #1 was using a self-propelled, 3-wheeled chemical spreader to disperse herbicide on a 2 to 3 acre field at a farm. He was just completing his work and retracting the spreader arms when the vehicle ran through a fence and down into a ravine. The spreader tipped over, crushing Employee #1's head and chest. He was killed.
