Employee killed in fall through metal liner on roof

Employee #1 and coworkers were putting up sheet steel roofing on an industrial building being constructed entirely of steel. At the end of the work day, they were rolling up the electrical cords. Employee #1 was walking on the 4 in. by 8 1/2 in. steel roof supports when he misstepped or slipped and fell 20 ft 9 in. through the interior metal liner onto the concrete floor. He was killed. The employees were not using any type of fall protection system.
