Employee killed in fork truck accident

Employee #1 was operating a Clark ECS-20 electric fork truck to move material from an outside storage area to the plant dock area. After retrieving a load of material from the storage area, the employee backed away from the area and struck a semi-trailer that was parked perpendicular to him. The employee sustained internal injuries from the impact. He died later that day. The fork truck's driver overhead guard was removed.
