Investigation Summary
At approximately 5:30 p.m. on or about March 7, 1992, Employee #1 was closing his grocery store when two or three men entered the store and apparently told Employee #1 that they wanted all the money in his cash register. Sometime during the robbery, Employee #1 started to fight with the robbers, who attacked him with a hatchet and possibly a knife. He suffered wounds to the head, chest, heart, and neck, from which he later died.
