Employee killed when struck by falling tree

A company was removing timber from the Paul Johnson farm near Gretna, VA. Employee #1, who was a partner in his father's logging company, was using a chain saw to cut down trees while his brother used a skidder to remove the trees. A tree that had been cut and left standing fell and struck Employee #1 on the head. He was killed.
