Investigation Summary
EMPLOYEE #1 WAS MOVING A 55 GALLON DRUM OF M-83, AND ALUMINOSILICATE DESSICANT MANUFACTURED BY ZEOCHEM. SHE FELL BACKWARDS AND THE DRUM FELL ON TOP OF HER. THE EMPLOYEE WAS TRANSPORTED TO THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE SHE WAS EXPERIENCING PAIN IN HER BACK. THE POISON CONTROL CENTER AND THE LOUISVILLE-JEFFERSON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT DID NOT KNOW WHAT WAS IN THE DRUM THAT HAD FALLEN ON HER SO THEY DECONTAMINATED HER UPON HER ARRIVAL AT THE HOSPITAL.
