Employee injured in fall from elevated platform

At approximately 12:15 p.m. on May 18, 1995, Employee #1, of Kilsby-Roberts, was standing on a portable platform that was improperly secured to the forks of a sideloader operated by a coworker. According to the employer, Employee #1 moved to one end of the platform to work on cantilever rack arms inside a storage shed when the platform tipped over, causing him to fall about 10 feet to the floor. He fractured his right wrist and sustained facial injuries. He was hospitalized overnight at Presbyterian Community Hospital in Whittier, CA. Employee #1 could not be reached about the accident.
