Employee dies of heart attack

At 2:30 p.m. on October 5, 1990, Employee #1 was preparing to tow a vehicle from the southbound lane of US highway 101 in Gaviota, CA. He suffered a heart attack and was taken to Santa Ynez Valley Hospital in Solvang, where he was pronounced dead. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff-Coroner's report listed the cause of death as a heart attack.
