Mental patient strikes employee's head against wall

Employee #1, of the California State Department of Mental Health, was checking the dorms during the night shift when he smelled smoke. He went into the bathroom, where he was attacked from behind by a mental patient who struck Employee #1's head against the wall. The employee set off an alarm to summon help.
