Investigation Summary
At approximately 11:00 a.m. on November 15, 1990, Employee #1, age 19, of R. G. Construction, was on the skeleton roofing of a garage at a single-family home. He fell approximately 8 ft through the joists, suffering bruises to his left shoulder. Employee #1 was treated at Santa Teresa Medical Center and then released. He was not present at the site during the survey and was not interviewed. Observation revealed no safety violations relative to this accident, but other violations were observed at the time and the employer was cited.
