Employee fractures ankle in fall from ladder

At approximately 3:15 p.m. on September 19, 1996, Employee #1, an electrician at Walt Disney Motion Pictures, was on a 12 ft ladder adjusting some lights at Universal Studios. He was descending the ladder when he fell, fracturing his ankle. Employee #1 was taken to St. Joseph's hospital, where he was treated and released. On October 23, 1996, Employee #1 underwent outpatient surgery on his ankle, after which he was held for observation.
