Employee's hand lacerated by conveyor

At approximately 3:32 a.m. on June 12, 1992, Employee #1 was working near plastic extruder #2. When he attempted to remove a stuck piece of plastic from a running cooling conveyor, his left hand was caught between the conveyor rods and the table. Suffering cuts and lacerations, Employee #1 was taken to White Memorial Hospital and treated. A citation was issued and the employer was advised to eliminate unsafe conditions and work habits.
