Employee falls from ladder, injures skull

At approximately 9:35 a.m. on May 7, 1993, Employee #1 was doing maintenance work on a ladder near the storage area. The ladder slid, causing Employee #1 to fall backward from the fourth rung of the ladder and land on the concrete floor. Employee #1 injured his skull and was disoriented. He was taken to the White Memorial Hospital and was hospitalized for two weeks. Now he is being treated as an out-patient. The employer was advised to initiate a proper training program and implement safety rules to prevent such accidents.
