Employee injured in 5 ft fall from elevated work platform

At approximately 8:35 a.m. on August 31, 1992, Employee #1 had failed to secure the deck plate before establishing the crane pick on the aircraft ND-11 tool he was working on. Employee #1 fell approximately 5 ft to the work surface and was transported to Long Beach Memorial Hospital for observation.
