Investigation Summary
At approximately 12:05 p.m. on December 28, 1992, Employee #1 was attempting to move a bull from one pen to a more confined one for hoof trimming. He was about to hit the bull with a wooden cane, when the bull turned and forced him against the fence. The bull, with its head down, pushed against Employee #1's chest. When Employee #1 fell to the ground, the bull stopped attacking. Employee #1 was taken by ambulance to Kern Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
