Investigation Summary
At approximately 8:10 a.m. on December 20, 1990, Employee #1, of Pillow-Tex Corporation, was loading pillow filler material onto the conveyor belt of a Davis and Furber picker machine when her right hand was pulled into the feed rollers and crushed. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department stabilized Employee #1 and then transported her to the USC Medical Center for treatment.
