Investigation Summary
At approximately 8:55 a.m. on August 13, 1990, Employee #1, an electrical mechanic, was in the aft section of ship #1764, standing atop a two-stair, 2 ft high ladder. According to witnesses, the ladder slipped from under her. Employee #1 lost her balance and fell to the floor of the aircraft, resulting in multiple fractures of her right leg. She was transported to Doctor's Hospital in Long Beach for treatment.
