Employee injured in fall to ground from beam

At approximately 1:00 p.m. on August 27, 1992, Employee #1 was walking on a metal beam and metal decking when he accidentally fell approximately 20 ft to the ground. The employee was not secured by a safety belt and attached lanyard or protected by a protective railing. He sustained multiple fractures to his right foot and fractures to his fingers. Employee #1 was transported to Western Medical Center for emergency treatment and admitted for follow up surgery on his right foot.
