Employee's leg broken when run over by loaded trailer

Employee #1 and coworkers had finished picking kiwi fruit in a field. The crew was leaving the work area and had a long distance to get to their vehicles, so they jumped on a trailer of kiwi fruit to catch a ride. Employee #1's feet were uncomfortable on the step of the trailer, so she tried to switch legs. She missed the step, fell off the trailer, and was run over by its wheel. Employee #1suffered a broken leg and was hospitalized.
