Employee injured in fall from metal scaffold

At approximately 3:59 p.m. on December 19, 1991, Employee #1, said to be a foreman, was doing a lathing job on a nursing home under construction. He was working from a 6 ft collapsible metal scaffold with a 3 ft extension and no guardrails on the open sides. Employee #1 fell 9 ft. He was transported by ambulance to Rideout Hospital in Marysville, where he was treated for a lumbar strain, then released.
