Employee fractures finger in label machine

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on October 23, 1995, Employee #1, of Giumarra Vineyards, was working at a Topmatic label machine. As she removed a label from a pallet, her right ring finger became caught between the moving pallet and the roller. She fractured her right ring finger and was transported to a doctor's office for treatment. Employee #1 failed to turn off the machine before attempting to remove the label.
