Employee's hip dislocated in fall off log pile

Employee #1 was installing a temporary water sprinkler system on a log pile. Sprinklers were installed on the edge of log piles so the piles would get the full effect of the water system. While walking along the edge, Employee #1 stepped on some loose bark, slipped, and fell 16 ft to ground. He severely dislocated his left hip.
