Investigation Summary
Employee #1, of Cattuzzo and Sons, was bagging silage. The bungee cord holding the bag onto the silage machine was rubbing on the backstop cable, and he went to reposition it. Having done this, Employee #1 returned to his normal working position at the left rear side of the bag near the backstop. Shortly, he heard a loud bang and the backstop struck and broke his right leg.
