Employee's fingertip amputated by ram of pot pie machine
Employee #1 was attempting to remove a pie plate that had become caught on the ram of a pot pie machine. The ram cycled rapidly down and back up, and its base caught and severed the tip of her right index finger. The guard had been removed from the machine and the machine was still energized when she attempted to remove the plate.
