Employee's forearm injured in case sealer compression unit

On September 28, 1990, Employee #1 was attempting to remove a can from a case sealer compression unit when his right forearm became caught in the unit. He suffered crushing injuries and soft tissue damage. Coworkers later stated that they had been indulging in horseplay with Employee #1 when the accident occurred. Employee #1 denied this claim.
