At approximately 7:00 p.m. on September 20, 1990, Employee #1 was working after hours to wax a company-owned semi tractor in preparation for a weekend appearance in a truck rodeo. He began to experience pains in his arm and chest, and was hospitalized for treatment of a heart attack. The truck work had been authorized by Employee #1's employer.
